Come make a beautiful for necklace to match your favorite outfit or to give to your best friend.
You need to know a cast on and the knit stitch. I will show you how to slip the bead and do a German Short Row. You will leave with a necklace close to finished.
I will provide yarn, beads, patterns, threaders and samples of necklaces in the available patterns. In the beginning of the class you will have three decisions to make:
Which of four beautiful One Lupine fingering yarns to use for your fabric,
Which three or four colors of the fabulous Miyuki glass beads to use and
Which of the necklace patterns to employ.
Now it gets even more fun. You will string your beads, cast on and start knitting.
Once you have made one of these necklaces, you will want to order beads and knit up all of your scrap yarn. Imagine having a necklace to go with each shawl you make or to go with your favorite outfit or to make as a gift for –well-everyone!
Come, have some fun! Bring your size 2, 24” circular needles.
For a sneak preview, go to ETSY.com, search for CheriPDesigns and see the necklaces. We will be doing a necklace like Roses Are Red, Too Pretty for Words, Am I Blue or Grayscale. Aren’t they gorgeous? You can make one too!
